High tides, uncooperative sand and errant dogs may have crushed some sand sculptors' dreams of world domination, but that's no reason not to see the fruits of their week long labor at Revere Beach. This Saturday they'll be naming the top sand sculpture and celebrating with fireworks.
Local Sand sculptor Sean Fitzpatrick is at it again with the 5th annual New England Sand sculpting Festival. This year the event will be heald again at Revere Beach. 11 of the most talented sand sculptors from around the globe will be competing for $15,000 in cash and purse prises. Sean will again be Directing the competition and creating a 250 tom centerpiece to wow the hundreds of thousands of spectators.
